Forest High School, Kikandwa

The opportunity to develop and improve our ideas for the classroom block developed for Buloba arose sooner than expected: On arrival in Kampala to build the Onwards & Upwards School PEAS announced that they had just started a second school in a rural district 1 hour from the nearest metalled road and 3 hours west of Kampala. We were asked to implement our classroom designs based on and existing masterplan.

We were able to work with the builders of the first school on the new site to improve on the initial design. The class room blocks at forest high illustrate a number of different interpretations of our ideas.
